Lexington Symphony: Fresh Perceptions (5/30)

Our next concert is just around the corner! Fresh Perceptions features three works that disrupted the musical conventions of their time. Prokofiev’s The Prodigal Sonevocatively narrates the biblical tale of rebellion and forgiveness, while the luxurious, sweeping melodies of Franck’s Symphony in D minor build to a magnificent finale. And we are delighted to welcome the fantastically talented Hana Chang back to the stage as our featured soloist on Mendelssohn’s ever popular Violin Concerto – the perfect way to welcome the warmer, brighter days of spring!
Saturday, March 30th, 7:30pm Concert, 6:30pm Pre-Concert Talk

Prokofiev | The Prodigal Son
Mendelssohn | Violin Concerto, Op. 64
