LEXPRESS

After School Transportation
With school bus registration already underway for next school year, you may be thinking about your after school transportation needs. With stops throughout Lexington, Lexpress can help your family get to and from after school activities.

Never used Lexpress? It’s a locally-funded bus service that has been serving the community since 1979. Service is provided Monday-Friday from early morning until early evening.

You can learn more about Lexpress by visiting our website, or by coming to our info session next Saturday, April 6 from 11:30am-12:30pm in room 242 of the Community Center, 39 Marrett Road. The session will include an overview of Lexpress, how to signal a bus to stop, how to read our schedule/map, where the bus stops on the Middlesex Turnpike, and answers to questions you may have about transit in Lexington.

Summer Transportation
Additionally, families may be seeking summer transportation, and Lexpress goes by many popular summer spots for recreation (pool, Old Res, hiking/conservation trails), camps (Hayden, Empow, Community Center, Keys for Kids, Einstein’s Workshop, Munroe Center for Arts, etc.), summer jobs, and more.

Summer Fun Passes will be on sale soon! For $60, youth riders can receive unlimited transportation on Lexpress for all of June-August.
