Parent Support in Your School…
Each school has an elected SEPAC School liaison, a fellow parent with a child receiving services at your school. The SEPAC liaisons are a point of contact in your school to help guide you in the right direction and to offer insights on how it works in your school. A full list of SEPAC liaisons can be contacted through the lexsepta.org website.

LexSEPAC, is the Special Education Parent Advisory Council. All school districts are required by law to have a parent advisory council to advise the public schools on the education and safety of students with disabilities. School officials are mandated to meet regularly with SEPAC parent representatives to participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of school programs.
The LexSEPTA, the Lexington Special Education PTA, supports LexSEPAC, offering parents a way of connecting with one another, valuable speaker events and workshops and also social gatherings with other parents, the school committee and more. LexSEPTA is a 501(c) volunteer-run organization. To join, visit lexsepta.org/join.
Whether your child is on an IEP, 504 plan, has other needs, or you are simply interested in learning more about support services, LexSEPAC/SEPTA could benefit your family.
