Hello Lexington Families!
Good News! Students and staff have been taking the screening tests for COVID-19 and it’s helping us keep a safe learning environment in Lexington Public Schools! See the results here.
In order to continue being able to offer this valuable resource to Lexington families and staff, and not take away from educational programming and curriculum at the schools, LEF is doing its part to help spread awareness that we DO need to continue to raise money as we are not receiving funds from the town’s CARES Act funding. In short, the more we can raise, the longer this programming can stay in place and help our community. Our goal is to surpass $200,000. We are currently at $18,000.
Can you be part of the solution and help us by donating today? Any amount makes a difference. No amount is too small or too big. What we can do is in your hands.
LEF has also dedicated $100,000 towards innovative teaching and learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Want to hear about the grants LEF has funded and are being used during this school year? Join us for our Grantee Reception taking place this Thursday, Feb 4th from 3:30 pm-5 pm. Sign up here to receive the zoom link. This is truly one of LEF’s best events where we gain insight into how Grantees are putting their grants into action to enrich student learning. It’s also an amazing opportunity for LEF Board members, LEF Committee Members, and the Lexington community to really realize that the time, energy, and resources dedicated to LEF makes such a huge difference!
