GIRLS LEXINGTON LITTLE LEAGUE SOFTBALL REGISTRATION EXTENDED

Register for Lexington Little League Spring Softball by March 1, 2021

After a successful, fun, and safe fall softball season, spring Lexington Little League girls’ softball is just around the corner.  Registration has been extended until March 1 – please hurry!

March 1 is the deadline for Softball Tee-Ball (current K and 1st graders) and Minors (current 2nd and 3rd graders) as well as our Majors (current 4th/5th graders) and Seniors (current 6th-8th graders) draft-based divisions.  Register and recruit a friend today!  Softball is a fun, low-key team sport for girls of all abilities.  Emphasis is on learning softball fundamentals as well as having fun.

As a reminder, T-Ball and Minors teams are school-based, but team placement is first-come, first-served. Once rosters are full, we cannot guarantee that your child will be placed on her school’s team, so please register ASAP!

When registering, do not set up a new account if you are an existing family – please log into the account you have used for previous seasons. Also, please note that while players must live in Lexington or attend school in Lexington to participate, you may ignore the site’s request to supply residency verification.

For more information, you may visit the league overview page on the LLL site for program information, including typical practice and game information. Please note that given the uncertainty of the current COVID situation, final practice/game schedules may differ from their “typical”.  The information on our site that details practice and game days/times is based on spring 2019 and subject to change.

2021 COVID information may be found at Lexingtonlittleleague.com and here:  While LLL is eager to get all players on the field for the Spring 2021 season, safety will remain our top priority. Any changes to state and local guidelines regarding COVID-19 could potentially force LLL to cancel or cut short the Spring season. LLL will continue to monitor state and local recommendations regarding COVID-19.  As we get closer to April, any uncertainty surrounding the start and duration of the season will be communicated in a timely manner.

Should you have any questions, please reach out to LLL Softball Registrar Leslie (Jill) Franchella (lesliefranchella@gmail.com).  We hope to see you soon!
