Join Cary Library and the Association of Black Citizens of Lexington for a unique look into the songs that inspired marchers during the Civil Rights Movement. Aniece Kerr, Lexington resident and active participant in the Civil Rights Movement, will share a brief history of each song and their significance to the movement. The songs will be performed by Candice R. Henry, Nellie R. Henry, Gwendolyn Kerr, and Stephen Kerr. There will be time for questions at the end of the program.
Advance registration is required. Sign up online at carylibrary.org/programs
