Did you know the Lexington Public Schools composts at every level in the district–from Preschool to Grade 12?  Did you know that 38% of Lexington’s household waste is food waste?  Composting is a very easy and effective way to reduce waste, pollution and carbon emissions while replenishing much needed nutrient rich soil to our land.  The Town of Lexington has expanded the free curbside composting program to include 4,000 households. If you have not yet signed up, please do so today!  Composting can make a HUGE difference.
