We want to thank you for all that you do for our children throughout the school year. The descriptions below will provide some helpful information about stipend reimbursement and other funding programs provided by the PTO for 2015-16.

This year there are four funding programs available to Estabrook staff:

Staff Stipend Program

Each Full Time and Part Time staff member of Estabrook School receives reimbursement for purchases for classroom supplies and materials each school year. See green letter from PTO for details.

Please submit your receipts for the items purchased with an expense report or itemized list to the PTO Treasurer’s folder. You will be reimbursed by check.

When possible, please use the PTO’s or Estabrook School’s tax-exempt number when making purchases. You will receive a green card from the PTO with the number for you to carry in your wallet.

2. New Teacher Stipend Program

Each new teacher to Estabrook School receives a stipend for the purchase of classroom supplies and materials to start the school year. See green PTO letter for details.

3. Quick Grant Program

This program is designed for small, one-time expenditures, including small equipment and reference books.

Please send an email to info@estabrookpto.org to request a quick grant from the PTO with a description of the item, purpose and cost.

4. Grade Level Grant

These grants are intended to enable grade-level teams of teachers to purchase items for a project that falls outside the school budget but enriches the students’ classroom experience. Examples include cultural days, special science and math projects.

Please note that the Grant programs have a finite budget and might get allocated before the end of the school year based on the requests we receive. Get your grant requests in early!
