Lexington United Against Antisemitism (LUAA) is committed to enhancing the sense of well-being and safety within the Jewish community of Lexington. We aim to increase knowledge about the incidence and consequences of antisemitism, broaden the sense of solidarity with the Jewish community among teens and adults who are not Jewish, and expand the interpersonal skills among teens and others necessary to “stand-up” to antisemitic speech and actions. We believe these efforts will amplify and extend ongoing activity in our community to combat racism, anti-LGBTQ hatred, and other forms of religious, cultural, and social bigotry.

White Nationalism and Antisemitism
Monday, October 28, 2024, 7-9pm
Follen Church UU, 755 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington
Sponsored by Lexington United Against Antisemitism (LUAA)
How do virulent antisemitism and racism interact with each other? We’ll address this question
after watching a 20-minute segment of the videotaped panel “How Antisemitism Fuels White
Nationalism.” Panelists include Eric K. Ward, author of Skin in the Game: How Antisemitism
Animates White Nationalism Sr. Fellow at the Southern Poverty Law Center; Pamela Nadell,
Director of American University Jewish Studies Program; R. Derek Black, a former white
nationalist; and Daryl Johnson, an intelligence analyst. RSVPs are helpful but not necessary at
luaa.lexington@gmail.com. This event is similar to a LUAA-sponsored event on May 20 that was
well-received and seemed worth repeating. Questions? Contact Maggie Herzig

diverse identities who have invested our lives in uplifting vulnerable communities. [We] focus
on depolarizing difficult conversations around anti-Jewish harm to strengthen allyship for and
within the Jewish community. Listening with curiosity and compassion is at the center of our
relational engagement approach.” Space is limited. Register here. For additional information,
