Preparations are underway for the 2025 Patriots’ Day Parade in Lexington, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington. We have enjoyed seeing you at previous parades and hope that you will return this April.  Please know that you add much joy to the day.

Note, in 2025 there will not be a Lexington Patriots’ Day Youth Sunrise parade.  So, we hope you will consider participating in this year’s 2025 Lexington Patriots’ Day afternoon parade to be held Saturday, April 19.

We encourage you to apply for this year’s parade, if you have not already done so, using the online application at <<https://form.jotform.com/TownofLexingtonMA/PatriotsDay2025>https://form.jotform.com/TownofLexingtonMA/PatriotsDay2025>. If you have a problem using this online application, please send an email to celebrationscmte@lexingtonma.gov<mailto:celebrationscmte@lexingtonma.gov>.  As part of this application, you will have the option of uploading pictures of your unit to be used for publicity. We would appreciate it if you would upload high-resolution JPEG format pictures.

Because of the significance of this year’s event and the high degree of interest, we are starting the application process earlier than in previous years. The application deadline is December 1st 2024. We will review applications as they come in. Therefore, we recommend that you submit the application and photographs as soon as possible.

If you are requesting an appearance fee, you must fill out and submit a W9 form. Applications from groups requesting a fee will not be processed without a current W9 form. Please note that we have a very limited budget, and acceptance of your application may depend on agreeing to a fee that works for both the Town Celebrations Committee and your organization.
