Job Scope

As a Community Clean Energy Advocate, you are tasked with collaborating closely with LexCAN members, the Town Sustainability officer and other local partners to educate Lexington residents about the available programs, incentives, and other resources that can help them move towards home electrification, improved energy efficiency, and sustainable practices in general. Whenever possible, this work should prioritize reaching low-income residents, renters, residents with limited English proficiency, and other underserved populations.

What You’ll Bring:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated advocate who enjoys building community by doing outreach with many different community groups. The ideal candidate is savvy with the Google suite, social media platforms, and Canva graphic design tools. A preferred candidate will bring a background or strong interest in environmental science, sustainability, ecology, and/or climate change resilience.
