Library Volunteer

Volunteering in the library is a great opportunity to directly help the school and perhaps grab a hug from your student during the school day! Library volunteers help once per week or every other week, and your shift may be coordinated to coincide with your child’s library time. Library volunteers offer assistance by:

• Checking books out of the library for the children
• Checking returned books back into the library
• Shelving books
• Helping the Librarian with a variety of special projects

Library volunteer sign-ups traditionally open in late August and will be announced via email and on our Facebook page. Volunteer sign-ups will take place on our Membership Toolkit signup page!

NOTE: Anyone who plans to volunteer at Estabrook must submit a CORI form which activates a criminal background check. This form needs to be completed at the Estabrook main office and is good for three years. If you need to complete a form, you must come to the office in person. Please don’t forget to bring a copy of your current driver’s license or passport!
