A dedicated group of town leaders and LHS Creative Writing Club and LHS The Poetry Club are organizing the ‘My Truth Is…’ poetry and essay writing competition again. 

We hope to continue to give Lexington students from grade 3 to grade 12 (or age 22 years) opportunities to reflect on their world and be recognized for their writing and communicating abilities. 

Key dates to keep in mind:

The competition will run from April 15th to May 10th

The results will be announced May 24th 

The in person award ceremony will be May 29th at 7 pm. 

The prompt “My Truth Is …” needs to be included in the poem or essay. 

Submissions are collected through the grade wise forms on the website mytruthis.org

The in person ceremony will be a celebration of the students’ creativity. The awards like last year will be a mix of gift cards and writing implements (age appropriate amounts and quality!)
